This policy explains what information Save Energy A/C Inc. ("we", "us") collects through this website, by phone, text and email, and how we use and protect it. We collect only what we need to answer your request and do the work you hire us for.

What we collect
Information you give us. When you send our estimate form, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), ZIP code, the service you need, any message you add, and which page of our site you sent it from. When you call, text or email us, we receive your number or address and what you tell us.
If you become a customer. To quote, schedule and complete a job, we also keep your service address, job details, photos of the work area, quotes, invoices and payment records. This website does not take payments.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. This is used to run and secure the site. If you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, Google may tell us that the click led to a form or a call. See our Cookie Policy.
Ad measurement with your form details. When you send our form, Google's ad tag on our site may use the contact details you entered (such as your email address or phone number), turn them into a one-way scrambled code on your device (SHA-256 hashing) and send only that code to Google. Google uses it to match your request to a click on our ad (Google Ads enhanced conversions). None of these details are sent to Google in readable form, and we do not use them for remarketing.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers, health information or card numbers) through the website. Please don't include it in the form.
How we use it
- To email, call or text you back, schedule an on-site visit and prepare your written quote
- To do the work, order equipment, register manufacturer warranties, and handle invoices and service
- To keep business, tax and warranty records
- To follow up on your quote or past job, for example a maintenance reminder (you can tell us to stop at any time)
- To measure which of our ads lead to calls and form requests
- To protect our site and our business, and to meet legal requirements
Calls and text messages
When you send the form, you agree that we may email you about your request and, if you entered a phone number, call or text you at that number. We contact you only about your request, your quote or work we do for you. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only as needed with:
- Service providers that run our website, forms and email (for example our web host, our form-to-email service and our email provider) and our advertising measurement (Google)
- Manufacturers and distributors, to order equipment and register your warranty
- Permit and building contacts, such as permit expediters, your building management or city agencies, when a job needs it
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety
- A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganized
How long we keep it
If you contact us but do not become a customer, we delete your request within 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as the warranty on your system runs and as tax and business law requires.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a security breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by New York law.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Email newyork@saveenergyac.us or call us. We may need to keep some records when the law or an active job or warranty requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Other websites
Our site links to other sites, such as Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
